APM Terminals commenced operations in Nigeria in March, 2006. Apapa is Nigeria’s largest port and contains a number of wharfs. To date, the staff comprises over 900 highly skilled and motivated foreign and local staff. We are currently looking for an individual who share our commitment to providing services that are second-to-none.
Gate Clerk is responsible for providing support to Gate Operations, Clerical support for the release and receipt of import and export containers.This position reports to the Gate Supervisor.
Key Accountabilities 
§  Processes documentation for Import and Export container release and receipt
§  Updates relevant information in the terminal operating system (Navis Express)
§  Performs Gate In / Gate Out transactions, issues Pick-up / Drop off tickets & EIR
§  Ensures a safe and secure working environment
§  Provides complete and accurate reports where required
§  Performs other related duties as assigned.
Your Profile
Minimum Experience:  SSCE / OND / BSc.
Skills
§  Computer literate.
§  File maintenance.
§  Correspondence skills.
§  Phone Etiquette.
§  Good communication skills.
